 The Falcon 9:  The Industry Standard Set by SpaceX. January 26th, 2022 Dustin Rethelford SpaceX, with Elon Musk at the helm, has made many advancements in rocket technology since their early trials in the 2000s.  With the idea to make rockets reusable, to what seems to be at an endless degree, SpaceX set out to make space travel more affordable than ever before.  With that idea, the conclusion was made that the rockets had to be reusable, not just the rocket itself, but the engines and components within the first stage, which is the main stage that propels the rocket to space.  This would include ensuring that the first and second stages of the rocket used the same propulsion and engines to ease cost and increase interchangeability. Elon Musk:  Shaping Transportation through Ingenuity January 16th, 2022   Elon Musk is an inventor and CEO of many organization and corporations that are shaping our world in many different ways.  Through his tunnel boring company, to energy efficient cars, to reusable rockets that our transporting equipment, cargo, and personnel to space.  He burst on the aviation scene many years ago as he would been one the first private companies to develop reusable rockets that are cost efficient and safe with the hopes of eventually colonizing Mars.  Through his company SpaceX, he and his teams developed what is now called the Falcon 9 rocket and the Crew Dragon Capsule and are in the process testing the Starship rocket that he plans to use to transport extremely large amounts of equipment, living habitats, and personnel to the Moon and Mars (Mair, 2016).       SpaceX is now a highly successful when it comes to launching, recovering, and reusing rockets...
